The author was Vicar's Warden of St. John's church, Leytonstone and this book contains a great deal of information about the church and parish, including a chapter on Old Residents and Residences, lists of clergy and churchwardens and extracts from historical documents. Leytonstone was part of the county of Essex until the middle of the 20th century. A few black-and-white illustrations. |
